A master copy of "Still Life with a Skull and a Writing Quill" by Pieter Claesz. Oil on canvas, 16"x20". My final project for my beginning oil painting class, taken a year ago. While initially a rough process painting throughout the semester, I was able to focus my efforts into recreating something with a understanding of lighting and color within the last few days.
